The Best Western Galveston survived hurricane ike without catastrophic damage however, we do have a temporary loss of the following services, pending repairs and inspections by city officials we currently have no functioning elevators. We do expect to have one elevator running by december 17, 2008.

Moody gardens is only two miles away and the docks for the cruise line and the historic strand district are within five miles. We offer complimentary parking for our guests leaving on a cruise which can save you a bundle in parking fees at the docks all of our guests receive complimentary continental breakfast.
All rooms are equipped with hairdryer, 25-inch television with directv and hbo, iron and ironing board, coffee/tea maker and clock radio. with ten percent of our rooms facing the beach, at no additional charge. These requests are on a first come first serve basis. The Best Western Beachfront has the only heated pool on the island.
